Meredith Brooks - Shine

Shine is a retitled, relaunched version of Meredith Brooks' 2002 album Bad Bad One. That record made little impression upon its May release that year, apart from the single "Shine" sneaking onto the lower reaches of the Adult Top 40 charts, and the album sat dormant for nearly two years, when, out of nowhere, the popular television therapist Dr. Phil adopted the song as his new theme song for his new fall season.
