Road Checks are Back

The first weekend of summer starts tomorrow, the Victoria Day long weekend and Revelstoke RCMP point to their latest cell occupant as a reminder to not drink and drive. RCMP CPL Rod Wiebe says road checks are underway and a 30-year-old Nakusp resident drove into one of them on Airport Road late Friday night. He had nearly twice the legal alcohol limit and appears in court to face charges June 4th.
